We here at Lambda Chi Alpha pride ourselves on our dedication to philanthropy. Throughout the year, we participate in many different types of philanthropies raising money for various charitable organizations. Annually, we host three major philanthropic events, Miss Greek Goddess, Sandblast Volleyball Tournament, and the Color Run for the Kids. These events raise thousands of dollars for organizations such as Arkansas Children's Hospital, and thousands of pounds of food for those in need.
Each year our brothers join Lambda Chi Alpha chapters from across the country in raising food for our national philanthropy, Feeding America. As we spend countless hours trying to gather non-perishable food items for the Northeast Arkansas Food Bank (an affiliate of Feeding America), we also teach our members that we can all do our part to stop the hunger problem that exists right here in Northeast Arkansas.
Although it is not mandatory, most chapters here on Arkansas State University's campus host a local philanthropic event for the common good of our community. It is thus expected here at Lambda Chi Alpha that each member participate in these events to the best of their ability to help raise awareness in our community.
